• Display: The system boasts a larger 7.9-inch LCD touch screen with a 1080p resolution in handheld mode, supporting HDR10 and up to a 120 Hz refresh rate in compatible games.
• TV Output: When docked, the Nintendo Switch 2 supports up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on compatible TVs and games.
• Controllers: It introduces new Joy-Con 2 controllers that attach magnetically (instead of a rail system) and can also function as a computer mouse in supported games. They include a new “C” button for the GameChat feature.
• Storage: The console comes with 256 GB of internal storage, which is eight times the capacity of the original Nintendo Switch. Storage can be expanded using new, faster microSD Express cards (sold separately).
• Backward Compatibility: The Nintendo Switch 2 System is compatible with most physical and digital Nintendo Switch games, with some older titles receiving performance enhancements or paid “Switch 2 Edition” upgrades.
• New Features: New features include GameChat for voice and video chat, as well as GameShare, which allows a single owner of a compatible game to share access with another Switch 2 system via local play.
